Sojournalista Return & Exchange Policy
At Sojournalista, each item is made or sourced with intention—from our printed-to-order luggage and travel accessories to our handcrafted hats and scarves curated from artisans around the world.
Because of the custom and small-batch nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
What qualifies for a replacement or refund?
We’ll gladly replace or refund your order if:
- The item arrives damaged or defective
- You received the wrong product
- The item was lost in transit (confirmed by tracking)
To request a resolution, please contact us at info@sojournalista.com within 30 days of the delivery date. Be sure to include:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos showing the damage or defect (if applicable)
You do not need to return the item.
What doesn’t qualify?
We do not offer returns or exchanges for the following:
- Wrong size or color selected at checkout
- Change of mind
- Slight color differences due to screen settings
- Handmade item variations (each artisan piece may be slightly unique—that’s part of the beauty!)
Please review sizing charts and product descriptions carefully before placing your order. If you have any questions before you buy, feel free to reach out—we’re here to help.
Shipping Issues
- If your item is marked as “delivered” but you didn’t receive it, contact us within 30 days so we can investigate. If confirmed lost, we’ll replace or refund your order.
- If a package is returned due to an incomplete or incorrect address, we can:
- Reship it (shipping costs apply), or
- Offer a partial refund (excluding original shipping)
Cancellations
Orders can only be canceled before they enter production (for printed items) or before they are packed and shipped (for handmade goods). After that point, orders are already in motion and cannot be canceled or changed.
